In the world of luxury outdoor living, Manutti has long established itself as a name synonymous with elegance, comfort, and durability. With the release of its latest table collection, Ogado, the renowned Belgian design house invites us to rediscover the natural world through carefully sculpted lines, tactile materials and a deeply considered design language that blends form and function with a sense of serenity.
Organic Beauty, Sophisticated Design
For over two decades, Manutti has celebrated the joy of gathering outdoors. Its philosophy is rooted in creating moments of peace, connection and shared delight. This ethos is beautifully reflected in Ogado — a collection designed not just to fill a space but to make outdoor living feel more relaxed and in tune with its surroundings.
Designed by Brent De Meulenaere, Ogado celebrates contrasts, striking an eye-catching balance between organic shapes and refined architectural details. Each table is a sculptural expression of nature’s quiet elegance, with flowing contours that mimic the soft irregularity of giraffe spots — an unusual and compelling source of inspiration. De Meulenaere, who brings a background in both interior and product design, is known for integrating research and development into his creative process, ensuring that his designs are not only visually captivating but also highly functional.
His approach to the Ogado collection showcases this duality. Taking heed of how materials shape the user experience and how good design can discreetly improve daily life, he focused on creating aesthetically appealing pieces that encourage conversation while promoting comfort. These tables are built to last and serve, but they also invite a moment of pause — to reflect the tranquillity of their surroundings and the people who gather around them.
Three Tables, Endless Possibilities
The collection includes three dining tables, each suited to different kinds of spaces and occasions.
The Ogado organic dining table, with its elongated silhouette and room for up to twelve guests, is perfect for large outdoor gatherings. Its top, available in warm teak or sleek ceramic, gently undulates with natural curves, while a sculpted wooden base, shaped to mirror natural, carved forms, grounds it with artisanal character.
The Ogado round dining table is a more compact option that seats up to six. It’s ideal for smaller spaces or more casual meals, and has the same choice of materials and a curved base. From romantic dinners for two to intimate brunches with friends, this timelessly classy table is a versatile addition to any outdoor setting.
For even more flexibility, the Ogado low dining table provides a laid-back alternative for outdoor lounging and slow afternoons in the sun. It can be created by adjusting the base of the round table to a lower height — suited for informal meals, leisurely drinks, or relaxed socialising with light bites and good company.
Natural Materials, Built to Last
Manutti is known for crafting its pieces from high-quality, weather-resistant materials, and Ogado is no exception. The teak used in the collection is 100% recyclable and sourced from sustainably managed plantations in Indonesia. It’s naturally resistant to the elements, and over time, it ages gracefully, developing a stunning silver-grey patina. Unaffected by UV radiation, chlorine, and saltwater, teak requires minimal upkeep — making it a smart and stylish choice for alfresco settings.
The tables’ ceramic tops are made from sand, clay, and natural stone, baked at 1100°C and then dried and glazed for durability. The variable compositions allow for a multitude of finishes that range from solid tones to marble-like veining. However, unlike natural marble, ceramic is hard and impermeable so it doesn’t stain or scratch easily, making it a practical option for everyday outdoor use.
Manutti’s Vision
For more than 20 years, Manutti has been creating outdoor furniture that emphasises comfort, connection, and impeccable design. The brand’s collections are made to support the joy of daily life outdoors — from early morning coffee to long dinners with friends. Ogado continues this vision with a clean, nature-inspired look that fits into a wide range of environments. Whether in a shaded garden or by the pool, it’s designed to feel like part of the setting, not separate from it.
