Ibiza’s leading independent Five-star Grand Luxe hotel, Ibiza Gran Hotel, will open its doors for the new season on 27 May and will introduce a series of new experiences designed for guests to replenish body and soul. Drawing on epicurean principles, guests will be invited to indulge their senses with a holistic programme that includes exclusive access to some of the island’s leading contemporary artists, underwater ecology, restorative wellness programmes and private dining experiences. Guests will also have the opportunity to venture to the lesser-known corners of the famed white isle for some much-needed down time. Each experience has been designed specifically for couples and small groups to offer friends, family and loved ones the perfect opportunity to reconnect and restore.
Ibiza Gran Hotel has been curating intimate moments for guests for more than a decade and is perfectly placed to guide guests as they look to restore harmony after the past year. Guests can marvel at the kaleidoscope of colour under the surface of the Balearic Sea with National Geographic Marine Expert and Photographer, Manu San Félix, and learn about the vital sustainability programmes that protect and preserve the environment for the future. Oenophiles looking to explore new vintages can get lost among the vines at Ibiza’s finest organic winery, Bodegas Can Rich, followed by a bespoke tasting at award-winning restaurant La Gaia under the careful guidance of Ibiza Gran Hotel’s expert sommelier, Vasili Abodzich.
For those in search of some peace and tranquillity, guests can stop time on a llaut, a traditional sailing boat that is perfectly designed to bob along the stunning Ibizan coastline at a snail’s pace and compels guests to pause, reconnect and soak up nature’s beauty. Afterwards, guests can reawaken the senses with a tour of the hotel’s exclusive contemporary art collection followed by a private viewing of the iconic Studio Micus. The work of the studio’s namesake, Eduard Micus, is present throughout the hotel.
“The past year has undoubtedly left its mark on the world. We want to help our guests restore theirspirit, renourish the soul, rekindle their relationships and find wonder in the world around them again.
