A selection of the world’s best chefs are to cook a six course meal together to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Six of the world’s best chefs, with 17 Michelin stars between them, are getting together to cook for Neil Perry’s annual Ultimate Dinner.

The Ultimate Dinner raises money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a charity which works to improve the lives of terminally ill children. Since it began in 2003, the Ultimate Dinner has raised $1million for the charity.

Event organiser Perry said “We are all passionate about the work we do for charity and love coming together for this event to create a one-off menu using the best produce and wine in the country”. He added “It’s not every day that we get five of the world’s best and most admired chefs in the one room on the one night”.

The line-up this year consists of Thomas Keller (The French Laundry, Per Se), Heston Blumenthal (The Fat Duck, Dinner), Brett Graham (The Ledbury), Grant Achatz (Alinea), Ben Shewry (Attica), and Neil Perry (Rockpool). Each chef will cook one of the six courses and pair their dish with an Australian wine.

The Ultimate Dinner will take place at Perry’s restaurant The Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney in September.
