Originally from Puglia, Guiseppe trained at the Connaught Hotel as Sommelier and holds a diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. His legendary cellar at Enoteca was awarded the ‘Wine List of the Year’ by Harden’s at the London Restaurant Awards 2017.

Opening his restaurant in 1990 he realised the importance of the complex relationship between food and wine and his cellar is a constant work in progress involving many hours of reading, researching, tasting and testing. This ensures the wines perfectly complement his menus – and Northcote, the beautiful hotel in Lancashire are giving you the chance to try his dishes for a one-off evening.
