Sri Panwa resort is proudly welcoming master Chef Koji Kimura of 2 Michelin star Kimura Sushi and Chef Shuji Niitome of Niitome Tempura for an exclusive (and delicious) pop-up this May.

Taking place between the 3rd – 5th of May in Thailand, the talented chefs will be taking over Baba IKI at Sri Panwa to serve both omakase and tempura omakase for lunch and dinner to guests.

The 2 Michelin star Kimura Sushi is found in the suburbs of Tokyo with the master Chef Koji Kimura behind the reins – serving only 9 seats in the iconic counter-based sushi-ya. Alongside him is the highest scored tempura restaurant in Japan by Tabelog, Chef Niitome’s namesake tempura restaurant which is located in the city of Nagoya.

Together, the master chefs will be serving up a storm filled with their signature dishes. Chef Kimura has made a name for himself as the “father of aged sushi’ and will be bringing his 2 Michelin star worthy talents to Phuket, while Chef Niitome specializes in tempura seafood, meats, and vegetables, focusing on highlighting the flavours of the ingredients.

Sri Panwa is one of the world’s most renowned top 5 star resorts, perched high atop Cape Panwa and commanding breathtaking views of the South-eastern tip of Phuket island. Nestled within 40 acres of lush, tropical surroundings and offering accommodation of the highest quality, maximum privacy.

Ideal for a relaxing getaway, all aspects of Sri Panwa offer panoramic ocean views, while some boast full uninterrupted 300 degree ocean views. The hotel effortlessly embraces the essence of Tropical Contemporary design by integrating its natural jungle and ocean surroundings with the modern comforts of luxury living.
