Mark Greenaway is set to move from No.12 Picardy Place and will be heading to a new location in Edinburgh city centre. After his successful stint at the 36-seater venue he has opted to concede to the growing demand and open a 60-cover restaurant. The location of his new restaurant remains a close guarded secret that will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The 35-year-olds culinary skills are firmly rooted in Scottish tradition and envelops the wealth of great local goods on offer. This commitment to ingredients has seen his popularity rise, cemented with an appearance on BBC2sGreat British Menu.

Mark has been operating at Picardy Place since February 2011. Within a year, in January 2012, he became the only chef in Scotland to be awarded with the three AA Rosette award. Other awards have followed, including ‘Rising Star Chef of the Year 2011’ at the Scottish Hotel Awards. Diners will now be eagerly awaiting the location of his new restaurant. It is thought the restaurant will be open for business in early December.
