The Spanish capital is getting a taste of the French Riviera later this autumn with an exciting Mirazur pop-up. Based in Menton, Mirazur currently sits at number three on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. The entire team will be crossing over to Madrid later this year, as part of the exciting  In Residence series.

The fine dining venue will welcome NH Collection Eurobuilding hotel as its temporary home from November 12 to December 2, where chef Colagreco will serve a special autumn menu, priced at $210 excluding drinks.

On the menu, foodies can expect Colagreco’s signature border cuisine, drawing on his Italian and Argentinian roots and French training under the likes of Alain Passard and Alain Ducasse. Ingredients, as always, will be an important focus of the cuisine.

Set within a stunning location on the French side of the Riviera, just moments from the Italian border, Mirazur is an idyllic spot designed for savouring the diner things in life. Mauro Colagreco is the man behind the menu, taking inspiration from his Argentine-Italian heritage as well as the local French region.

After heading to France in 2001 as a newly qualified chef, Colagreco  went on to work with Bernard Loiseau until his death in 2003. He then worked with 50 Best regulars Alain Passard at Arpège and Alain Ducasse at Hotel Plaza Athénée before spending a year at Le Grand Véfour. In 2006, he established Mirazur – earning his first Michelin star within a year and an impressive second in 2012.

Ideal for gourmands, In Residence is an annual event filled with spectacular dining opportunities. Now in its 4th year, it transports some of the world’s best chefs and restaurants to Madrid, with previous years including Grant Achatz and Alinea, Nacho Manzano of Casa Marcial.
