Inspired by London’s Faberge Big Egg Hunt in 2012, Melt has teamed up with the bold and beautiful of Notting Hill and asked them to create their own Easter eggs for 2013.

The public will have achance to purchase these exclusively fromMelt’sLedbury Road shop.

Creative local luminaries including The World’s Best Restaurant – The Ledbury’s chef, Brett Graham, parfumier Lyn Harris of Miller Harris (whose egg is inspired by her latest perfume launch), Jean Cazals – food photographer of the year 2012 (pictured above), Nikki Tibbles of the gorgeous florist Wild at Heart, and designer and food writer Sophie Conran have all designed their own Easter eggs, which are being immortalised in luxurious chocolate by Melt’s head chocolatier Chika Watanabe before being displayed atMelt’sLedbury Road store from 18th March. Think crunchy honeycomb, flora scents and stunningly intricate designs. Exclusively just 5 eggs of each design have been created and are available to purchase (prices from £150) in time for the start of the festivities (for every purchase, Melt will be making a donation to local charity The Portobello Trust).

An exhibition of the eggs, aptly named the Melt Eggxhibition, will take place from the 21st to the 30th of March at Melt’s Ledbury Road store, London, W11 2AA
