The new restaurant will offer Italian cuisine in the stylish W Dubai – The Palm hotel.

Massimo Bottura, the chef behind the world’s current number one restaurant, is opening a brand new location in Dubai later this year.

Offering Italian with flair, Torno Subito will be opening in W Dubai – The Palm when the trendy new hotel is completed later on this year. The man behind Osteria Francescana, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Modena, Massimo’s new venture will no doubt offer endless culinary delights on the other side of the world.

Torno Subito will be Massimo’s first restaurant outside of Italy, and it promises to “take guests on a journey back to 1960s Italy, where the vibe is sophisticated and social, but laid-back”.

The name means “I’ll be right back” and it’s what Italian restauranteurs hang in the window when they’re taking an afternoon break.

The restaurant will be open for both lunch and dinner, with both indoor and al fresco dining options available. Guests will even have the option of ordering a pedalo picnic to enjoy in the lagoon.

An ideal location for the eatery, W Dubai – The Palm will have 350 guest rooms and suites, six restaurants and bars, private beach with watersports and a spa. If you fancy a change from Italian, there will also be a restaurant from Michelin-starred Japanese chef Akira Back, as well as Wet Deck pool bar, SoBe rooftop bar, Mediterranean restaurant Liv and W Lounge.
