An innovator and restaurateur with over twenty years’ experience, Massimo Bottura is internationally renowned as one of the world’s most creative culinary figures.

Combining tradition and innovation, this talented chef continues to redefine Italy’s rich gastronomic heritage and culinary traditions, with signature dishes exploring the roots of the Italian kitchen whilst making references to the country’s rich cultural and artistic history. He is world-known for his creative and innovative dessert, “Oops I Dropped The Lemon Tart.”

Having opened his first restaurant Osteria Francescana in his small Italian hometown of Modena in 1995, the venue has gone on to win numerous accolades – including its third Michelin star in 2012.

Most recently, it was awarded the number 1 spot on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list – a title coveted by chefs across the globe.
