This June, catch a flight to the Turkish Riviera for a one-off night of enchantment at The Bodrum Edition.
The perfect chance to sample innovative and unique flavours, Michelin-star chef James Lowe of Lyles London will be collaborating with pioneering free rider Peruvian chef, Diego Muñoz for a special dinner at his restaurant Morena at The Bodrum EDITION.
Set to take place on Saturday 1st June, the evening’s menu will see Muñoz pay homage to the local surroundings and produce with a range of delicacies inspired by Peruvian and Middle Eastern dishes.
Meanwhile, James Lowe will bring his own influences to the table with a selection of dishes inspired by British cuisine from the internationally renowned Lyles, as well as his latest restaurant, Flor.
Incorporating locally-sourced Turkish ingredients, the menu will also see a number of dishes served which fuse Muñoz and Lowe’s culinary styles.
Widely renowned as one of the world’s most talented and creative chefs, Peruvian Diego Muñoz, an ambassador of the South American heritage around the world, has kicked off a new path as a free rider chef.
While creating a diversity of locally-focused culinary operations in Europe, Asia and South America, he also takes part of unique ephemeral experiences across the globe.
The collaborative dinner is taking place following Muñoz taking Lowe’s on a culinary journey to explore his Peruvian roots, where Muñoz offered an insider’s culinary guide to the country’s highlands and Lima.
Ahead of the dinner, Lowe commented: “After our trip, we realised that we’d be a good fit to work together. I like Diego’s food, his philosophy, his thoughts on restaurants and what makes them work and I think we have a lot in common.
Whenever I meet someone that interests and inspires me I always want to get in to a kitchen to work together.”
Whilst Muñoz shared: “I have been an admirer of James’ work for many years and am hugely excited to create something very special together with him at The Bodrum EDITION”.
With exquisite dishes and an edible passport of flavours, this rare evening is not to be missed. With its laidback atmosphere and come-as-you-are approach, Morena will make the perfect setting for the occasion.
