This winter, sporty gourmands can mix their love for the slopes with edible indulgences at the upcoming Winter Culinary Weekend at Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Winter lovers, don’t miss out on this exciting gastronomic escapade in one of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain resorts. Taking place from 24 – 27 January 2019, head to the picturesque surrounds of Beaver Creek, a mountain resort of dreams, to enjoy everything from celebrity chef masterclasses to dynamic alpine adventures. Arrive to dinner via sleigh, enjoy snowshoeing experiences before lunch and of course, hit the slopes in epicurean style.

Seize this exciting opportunity to tackle the mountain with expert instructors and then relax into a luxurious fine dining experience with hand-selected wines. Wine buffs can also raise a glass at Saturday’s Synesthesia: Culinary Showcase and Concert featuring Lord Huron and hosted by Geoffrey Zakarian.

With additional impressive chefs such as Emma Bengtsson, Executive Chef of Aquavit and Jamie Bissonnsette set to attend, the culinary lineup is a treat for the senses.

Here’s a flavour of what’s taking place across the foodie weekend:
1 A Guided Snowshoe Excursion & Gourmet Lunch
Enjoy a guided snowshoe tour in one of Beaver Creek’s most stunning, pristine settings—the secluded Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center and McCoy Park, home to over 30 kilometers of beautiful trails. Post-adventure, relax at Grouse Mountain Grill and dig into lunch prepared by Guest Chef Jamie Bissonnette and Executive Chef Brian Busker as well as wines paired with each course.

2 Cooking Demonstrations with Emma Bengtsson
Greeted with a glass of wine for this exclusive mid-day cooking demonstration at Toscanini, a warm and welcoming spot in the heart of Beaver Creek Village, foodies can  watch Guest Chef Emma Bengtsson prepare beautiful desserts, then sample the delicious creations.

3 A Willamette Valley Wine Dinner featuring Guest Chef Chris Czarnecki
This unique culinary experience at Trappers Cabin, nestled among aspen and pine trees at 9,500 feet, features food and wine from the Willamette Valley region of Oregon.

Slippers and warm drinks greet guests, followed by an intimate wine-paired dinner from Guest Chef Chris Czarnecki of The Joel Palmer House in Oregon’s Pinot Noir country.

4 Wine-Paired Dinner at Allie’s Cabin featuring Guest Chef Emma Bengtsson
Beaver Creek’s exclusive and luxurious on-mountain log cabin is open for a rare culinary treat. First, foodies will enjoy a fun sleigh ride from the base of Beaver Creek Mountain to the cozy confines of Allie’s Cabin, where heaven awaits.

Guests will be greeted at the Cabin with cozy slippers and a warm drink. Emma will then prepare an inspired dinner paired with hand-selected wines. Cap off the night with a sleigh ride back to Beaver Creek Village to conclude a memorable experience.

5 Ski. Eat. Ski
If you’re a ski bunny, this one’s for you. Join Beaver Creek’s renowned ski and snowboard instructors for a morning of exploring intermediate and advanced trails on the mountain, and pick up some new technique tips along the way.

After challenging yourself in the snow, warm up and relax at Zach’s Cabin, perched on the mountain above Bachelor Gulch. Devour gourmet lunch prepared by Guest Chef Alex Seidel and Executive Chef David Gutowski paired with unique wines to complete this elevated on-mountain experience.

6 Celebrity Chef Cooking Demonstration & Gourmet Luncheon
Hone your skills with expert tips from celebrity chefs. At this exclusive cooking class, watch as Guest Chef Geoffrey Zakarian works culinary magic at Splendido at the Chateau’s spectacular demonstration kitchen alongside Executive Chef Brian Ackerman.

This exciting experience will finish with lunch, with a lively lunch where guests can enjoy top-notch dishes paired with exquisite wines.
