The global chef is hosting a one-off dinner at The Little Nell this spring – and you’re invited.

This spring, Colorado’s chicest mountain resort will play host to a night of culinary enchantment as world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his son, Cedric host a one-off gourmet dinner.

Taking place within The Little Nell’s element 47 restaurant, hungry epicureans can join the talented restauranter and son team for a four-course dinner. One of Aspen’s most beautiful hotels, the five-star property will provide the perfect setting for this rare night of edible extravagance.

The dish on Jean-Georges
Jean-Georges operates a myriad of four- and five-star restaurants worldwide, and has published several cookbooks reflecting his influential style of cooking.Born and raised on the outskirts of Strasbourg in Alsace, France, food has always been at the core of Jean-Georges’ earliest memories.

After commencing his training at a work-study program at Auberge de l’Ill as an apprentice to Chef Paul Haeberlin, he went on to work under Paul Bocuse and Master Chef Louis Outhier at L’Oasis.

With this impressive three star Michelin background, Jean-Georges traveled to Asia and continued his training at the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, the Meridien Hotel in Singapore and the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong.

During this period, he began to develop his passion for the East’s exotic and aromatic flavours and techniques.

His signature cuisine abandons the traditional use of meat stocks and creams and instead features the intense flavors and textures from vegetable juices, fruit essences, light broths, and herbal vinaigrettes.

In doing so, he’s redefined industry standards and revolutionised the way we put our plates together.

A culinary whirlwind, Jean-Georges is involved in every aspect of his restaurants – concept, menu, architectural design, staff selection and trainings – in an ongoing effort to create venues that are both timely and enduring.

The dish on Cedric
Following in his father’s footsteps but also successful in his own right, Cedric helms the kitchen at Perry St in New York City, creating dishes that reflect his own keen instinct for balancing flavour and texture with an exquisite blend of French, American, and Asian influences and ingredients.

After attending the Culinary Institute of America, staging with Ferran Adrià, he’s worked his way up to his current position as Chef De Cuisine at Perry St.

A must-book for any fine dining foodie, tickets start from $165 person with a $95 wine pairing option.
