Michelin star chef, Yannick Alléno is opening his pop-up restaurant in the Orient Express, Paris for a limited time only…

What’s a three Michelin star chef doing opening a pop-up, you may ask? Well this isn’t any regular pop-up; from 4 April to 31 August, Yannick Alléno is going to be doing what he does best in the kitchen of the illustrious luxury train, the Orient Express.

The train will be in the square of IMA (Institut du Monde Arabe) in Paris for the Orient Express exhibition “Il était une fois l’Orient Express”, to welcome guests for their fine-dining experience. Two menus will be on offer: Menu Anatolie at € 120pp (4 dishes), or Menu Train Bleu at € 160pp (4 dishes, aperitif, 3 wine pairings and a hot drink).

Yannick will be combining traditional French cuisine with audacious flavours and ideas from around the world, and is taking the opportunity of “being associated with the magical Orient Express”, to recreate the train’s“ fairytale universe linked to travel, to culture and to gastronomy”. His aim? To “offer a legendary dinner”, of course.
