This March, London’s legendary luxury store, Harrods, and the iconic fashion house, Dior, will be collaborating to bring guests the ultimate Dior experience. The Brompton Road store windows will be transformed by Dior’s recognisable colour scheme of grey and white – with a blend of “French Savior Fair and British charm”. As part of the special collaboration, an exclusive pop-up Dior Café will also be opening on the fourth floor, for one month only, from 16thMarch to 14thApril.

The pop-up Dior Café, which is still in its first week of opening, is one of a few exclusive collaborations Monsieur Dior has created with restaurants and well known chefs worldwide. The Dior des Lices restaurant, Saint Tropez, headed by top-chefYannick Alléno, for example, is an exclusive restaurant opening only during the summer months from June until October and features some of the world’s most exquisite cuisine, in one of its most luxurious locations.

Laced with a similar edge of decadence and sophistication, the Dior Café has been influenced by the traditional French Salons de Thé, inspired by Monsieur Dior’s love of eighteenth century décor.

The dishes on the Dior Café menu have also taken inspiration from Monsieur Dior’s own passion for exquisite food and the dishes on offer to guests are taken from his recipe book, La Cuisine Cousu-Main, which he published in 1972. Selections such as Black truffle omelette with a dressed salad, Lobster club sandwich, Filet of Dover Sole ‘‘à la Meunière’’ and a delicate Peach and strawberry soup with coconut sorbet and poppy seed tuile, French pastries, a Café gourmand and an afternoon tea with a fashionably French twist, are available throughout the day.

Open from 10am until 8pm daily without reservations, the Dior Café is fast becoming one of London’s most coveted, with only a few more weeks before its ‘fin’.
