Perched high above the City, a new chapter is unfolding for one of London’s most recognisable restaurant groups. Reservations have officially opened for Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate, ahead of its debut on 6 May—a launch that signals more than just another address, but a milestone moment for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global as it reaches its 100th restaurant worldwide.
Set on the 59th floor of London’s tallest building, the new opening brings Bread Street Kitchen & Bar to its most elevated setting yet—both literally and in ambition. The restaurant builds on the momentum of Lucky Cat, which opened in the same building in February 2025, reinforcing the group’s growing presence at the upper end of the capital’s dining landscape.
The project has already attracted attention beyond the restaurant world. Its development features in the Netflix docuseries Being Gordon Ramsay, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what has quickly become one of the city’s most anticipated openings.
For the brand, 2026 marks a defining year. Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, now an established global name with locations spanning China, Singapore, Dubai and the UK, celebrates its 15th anniversary with this latest opening—one that reflects both its evolution and its continued expansion.
At its core, the new venue is designed as a true all-day destination. Under the direction of Executive Head Chef Kamarl Rees John, the offering begins early, with breakfast served from 6:30am on weekdays to meet the pace of the surrounding financial district. From there, the experience moves naturally through lunch, afternoon tea and into dinner, before extending into late-night dining. From Thursday to Saturday, the restaurant remains open until 3am, creating a space that shifts easily from morning meetings to after-hours gatherings.
The menu reflects that breadth. More than 35 dishes span everything from Lobster Benedict and Hot Cakes in the morning to Galician T-bone steak and Meyer lemon cheesecake later in the day. For the first time, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar will also introduce a tasting menu, available to both à la carte diners and larger groups. The experience begins with a selection of snacks before moving through five courses, offering a more structured way to explore the kitchen’s range. Alongside this, two additional set menus cater to group dining and celebratory occasions.
Beyond the restaurant itself, the space expands into a broader entertainment offering. A dedicated sports bar, operating under a 24-hour licence, provides a setting for live global sporting events at any time of day. Evenings take on a different pace, with DJ sets running from Thursday through Saturday, while Sundays are reserved for live music—adding another layer to what is positioned as a round-the-clock destination.
All of this is framed by its setting. From the 59th floor, panoramic views stretch across London, placing the restaurant firmly within the city while offering a sense of remove from its pace below. It’s a fitting backdrop for a project that not only celebrates the group’s global reach to date, but also points clearly towards what comes next.
