Since its inception in 2009, Lauret Studio has distinguished itself in the luxury silverware market with its bespoke, artisanal creations that embody French elegance and art de vivre. Based in the scenic Vexin Français Natural Park, this French atelier specialises in creating limited-edition tableware and cutlery that merges aesthetic beauty with functional elegance.
Founder Christine Lauret, along with her partner, designer Richard Lauret, and celebrated artists like Christian Jaccard and Jean-Charles Maïna, has cultivated a studio that not only respects traditional craftsmanship but also embraces contemporary design. The studio’s collections are a testament to the artistry and passion of its creators, with each piece meticulously crafted by silversmiths who are graduates of the prestigious Ecole Boulle and hold the EPV (Living Heritage Company) and MOF (Best Craftsman of France) titles.
Offering everything from individual and service cutlery to elaborate table accessories and decorative barware, Lauret Studio’s exclusive collections are carefully designed and encompass a range of elements, including intricate patterns, classic shapes and customised detailing. Each piece is individually crafted by hand and often signed and numbered, emphasising exclusivity and a personal touch.
Beyond just silverware, Lauret Studio’s services extend to tailor-made projects that cater to renowned chefs’ signature dishes and desserts, enhancing the dining experience in high-end gastronomy. Some collaborations include designing knives and forks for French culinary icon Yannick Alleno’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant l’Abysse at Pavillon Ledoyen and a custom-built dessert tray for renowned Pastry Chef Maxime Fréderic. Titled A LA FOLIE, the flower-inspired tea-time display created for Maxime was showcased at the International Cultural Heritage Exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, and it won an international award in the serverware category from Tableware International Magazine in Frankfurt. The Montgolfière, a striking caviar presentation piece (as featured in the hero image), will also be showcased at the Homber Faber event in Venice from 1-30 September 2024, celebrating contemporary craftsmanship.
Much more than just a silverware company, Lauret Studio is an emblem of French lifestyle and luxury. By preserving the skill of silversmithing and championing creativity, it has become a pioneer in the silverware industry, creating durable, high-end products that are as expressive as they are exquisite. The studio’s dedication to once-off collections and registered designs ensures that each piece is a unique work of art, making it a favourite among those who cherish exclusivity and fine craftsmanship.
