Waterside Inn, Bray |3 Michelin stars for 30 years

Today the fabulous Roux brothers are celebrating the phenomenal achievement of holding their 3 Michelin stars for the last 30 years for their fine dining eatery, the Waterside Inn, the only restaurant outside of France to manage the feat.

It was at the age of 43 in 1985 that Michel Roux was awarded his third Michelin star and over the next 30 consecutive years this was set to continue.Even after he took a step back towards the last decade, vesting control in his son, Alain Roux, the restaurant has still maintained the same high quality standards.

Michel Roux states that“Such an achievement is due to seamless teamwork”which isn’t a surprise considering the flawless service received at The Waterside Inn.

With the RelaisChateaux chef, Alain Roux now heading up the kitchen, the Waterside Inn has been led neatly into a new generation of the Roux cooking dynasty. With his specialityremaining firmly rooted within the traditional Frenchfine-dining style of cooking, but with an addedcontemporary finish, guests are always in for a unforgettable gastronomic experience when they dine at the restaurant.

The milestone will be celebrated with guests ranging from well-known celebrity faces to industry professionals who will have no doubt been patron to the renowned restaurant at some point in their lives.

Congratulations Waterside Inn and thank you for all your hard work 30 years ago Michel Roux, we salute you!
