Not only is The Dolder Grand Zurich an illustriously luxurious hotel, but this year it becomes an epicurean’s dream arena. Inviting guests, acclaimed chefs – including 27 Michelin stars – and renowned restauranteurs, the festival will take place from 18 – 21 September.
In a bid to become the new gourmet highlight in Zurich, the festival will includeculinary workshops, indulgent eight-course dinners created by Michelin starred chefs, and insider tips from some of the world’s top restaurateurs.
With thirteen international masters of cooking performing over four days, thefestivalbrings 27 Michelin stars and over 74 Gault-Millau points toZurich.The hotel’sownMichelin starred chefHeiko Niederwill be joined by the likes of(Restaurant Vendôme, Bergisch Gladbach, Germany),Benoît Violier(L’Hotel de Ville, Crissier, Switzerland) and(Osteria Francescana, Modena, Italy).
Each night the hotel’s The Restaurant will be taken over by one of the chefs to delight the guests. On 20 September the hotel will host culinary workships whereguests can taste samples and pick up tips from some of TheDolderGrand’s preferred suppliers, who will be discussing all things caviar, chocolate, cheese, wine and champagne.
Culiminating on the 21 September, the festival’s highlight will be agastronomic tasting extravaganza, with live cooking stations featuring nine Michelin-starred chefs, including the hotel’sownHeiko Nieder and the likes of,,Esben Holmboe Bang,,François Geurds,,Johannes KingandRolf Fliegaufin thisgrandgourmetfinal.
Gourmands can take in the gastronomic delights of this inauguralfestivalwith theEpicure Package, with a one night stay at theDolderGrand, including breakfast, 8-course Epicure Dinner with wine pairing, and full use of theDolderGrandSpa. Prices start from £1,152 for two people.
