After the global success of Taste Festivals and the first edition in May 2015, the festival is back in Paris 11th-14th February 2016 at the Grand Palais.

After being created in London in 2004, Taste Festivals is back in Paris. It is more than fitting that such an event will bring together some of the best chefs the ‘City of Light’, Paris. The event will be held in the most emblematic places of excellence, a space that has the ability to make the past a tool of the future: the Grand Palais.

This year highly acclaimed French chef,Alain Ducasse,will be presenting the following three dishes duringthe event, all of which reflect the cuisine at Hotel Plaza Athenee:Corn from the Basque country served with shellfish,octopus and squid,Chickpea from the Alps served with marinated snapper and lemon caviar andChocolate and coffee with roasted buckwheat.

Alain Ducasse’s menu at the luxury Dorchester Collection property is based around three central ingredients of fish, vegetables and cereal, in fact the main menu does not contain any meat dishes.Thecuisine is about naturalness, inspired by the trilogy.

In total there will be 18 Parisien chefs, who will spend 4 days in the unqiue space of the Grand Palais. There will be 18 pop-up restaurants who will create mini-bite sized signature dishes in tasting format. For lunch or dinner, you will be able to sample the best French high cuisine ranging from chefs with Michelin stars to young and emerging talent, from classics to new clever creations…A true Festival of Parisian chefs!

Hôtel Plaza Athénée symbolises the spirit of Paris. It’s perfectly positioned near the Eiffel Tower and River Seine, on the prestigious tree-lined avenue Montaigne, home of Parisian haute couture.

At Taste of Paris there will also be seminars, demonstrations, cooking classes, an array of artisans and brands linked to the world of gastronomy who will showcase their creations. All of this will create a warm ambience perfect for mingling, sharing , discovery, creativity, exchange and relaxation.
