Celebrating the culinary diversity of Japanese cuisine from Yokohama, Kawasaki and Shonan regions, the special edition Michelin guide is now available in Japanese language for both print and digital versions.

This fabulous new special edition guide from Michelin Featuring 330 restaurants and 60 places to stay will be focusing solely on Yokohama and Shonan and Kawasaki, unlike previous editions of the area, which covered a broader spectrum.

However this guide will cover the cities and towns around Sagami Bay, between Yugawara town and Miura city in the Shonan area, and for the first time, all the establishments in Manazuru, Ninomiya, Chigasaki and Miura.The areas are known for their culinary diversity and the plethora of ingredients, such as seafoodand fresh vegetables that are readily available to be used in delicious gastronomic creations.

With an estimated 33 different types of cuisine and 25 categories of traditional Japanese (Washoku) listed for the areas including, udon, ramen, okonomiyaki and curry, the gourmet dining option are endless.

The new 2015 Special Edition offers not only a selection of the best Michelin star restaurants in the regions, but also a list of 60 choice hotels and ryokans within the Kanagawa prefecture. Establishments in Manazuru, Ninomiya, Chigasaki and Miura are included in a Michelin guide for the first time, and venues including one three star restaurant in Shoan –Koan, in Fujisawa City, six two star establishments, of which five are restaurants and one a ryokan, 29 one star restaurants all feature in this incredible new guide.

In addition 79 Bib Gourmands and 216 other recommended restaurants, which offer quality food at affordable prices, are also listed in the guide.
