After the massive success of the first edition, the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition is back for its second instalment…

S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016is looking for the best young chef in the world with a unique event: aninternational competitionthat highlights the engagement ofS.Pellegrinotoward young talents and counts on the collaboration with experienced mentors and on a stellar final jury.

Through the course of the second edition ofS.Pellegrino Young Chef, the international jury – the panel of theSeven Sages– will be formed by some of the most popular chefs of the world.

TheSeven Sagesthat will choose theS.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016will be no less thanDavid Higgs,Carlo Cracco,Gaggan Anand,Mauro Colagreco,Wylie Dufresne,Elena Arzak,andRoberta Sudbrack.

Subscriptions for the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016competition are open and can be foundonfinedininglovers.com. The subscriptions are opento all thechefs,sous chefsandchefs de partieunder 30 from all over the world, that will be taken into consideration for the occasion through 20 different geographical areas.

The journey of the international competition will continue through various selections made byALMA, the renowned International School of Italian Cuisine, and through 20 local events where the single jurieswill select a finalist for every geographical area.
The 20 finalists will then challenge each other during theGrand Finalethat will take place on the13th of OctoberinMilano: in this occasion the Seven Sages will crown theS.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016.

During the whole course of the subscriptions,Mark Moriarty, winner of the past edition, will share his experience with the candidates through a series ofvideo-tips.
