Obsession 16 is a celebration of Northcote’s 16th annual gastronomic event created by award-winning chef Nigel Haworth. The 16 night showcase of food and wine that saw18 chefs from across the world who hold 17 Michelin stars between them create their own Obsession Menu, and this book is a behind-the-scenes look at the dishes they served, as well as an insight into the lives of these talented chefs.
Readers will uncover profiles of each of the Obsession 16 chefs focusing on their restaurants, their approach to food and their signature dishes. Each chef also shares four recipes and their essential ingredient, all accompanied by beautiful food photography by Allen Markey, who has who has worked with Nigel for the last 10 years perfecting their style. The book’s foreword is written by Matthew Fort who is from Lancashire and has known Nigel and Northcote for many years, even cooking with Tom Parker-Bowles during one the previous Obsession events.
