This January Monica Galetti will be introducing a specially designed menu at The Gherkin that will showcase her signature style.
Standing 180m tall, Searcys at London’s iconic Gherkin, will host the menu of Galetti’s seasonal offerings in a limited edition menu from 8th January and 11th February 2016, whilst allowing guests to take in stunning views across London.
When asked about the collaboration Monica said “I am delighted to create a special menu for Searcys The Gherkin, which is such an iconic landmark in London. Inside and outside the building you can appreciate the stunning architecture, which makes it an inspiring place for a private members club and restaurant. It is an exciting concept to create a menu for a limited public opening of this interesting venue.”
With inspiration for the menu being taken from Galetti’s passion for seasonal produce, and Head Chef Renee Miller overseeing the execution and delivery of the menu, highlights from the menu will include dishes such as: black curry scallops, short rib of beef and pumpkin tart, and delicious desserts like the Guinness and Ginger Float.
Monica says of the menu: “The inspiring challenge is bringing winter produce to the plate with imagination, creativity and colour.’
