Michelin is pursuing its international development with the launch of this 30th selection dedicated to the city of Taipei.

The famous Michelin Guide inspectors will be setting out this year to discover the streets of Taipei, to select the best of the city’s restaurants.

Available in Spring 2018, this 30th selection of the international Michelin Guides collection will enable locals, tourists and business travellers alike to benefit from the Michelin Guide recommendations – whatever their fancies, tastes, or budgets.

“We are particularly happy to continue our deployment in Asia with the launch of this new selection of the Michelin Guide dedicated to Taipei,” says Claire Dorland-Clauzel, member of the Group Executive Committee, and Director of Sustainable Development, Brands, External Relations and the Michelin Guide.

“The diversity and quality of the city’s culinary scene, combined with its strong potential for development in the years to come, convinced us in our choice to set up in Taipei as from next year. Our inspectors have already started working on-site and are delighted to be getting acquainted with the local cuisine, rich in so many influences from all around Asia.”

The Michelin Guide Taipei 2018 will be available in a bilingual version (English and Chinese) in both paper and digital formats.
