Internationally acclaimedSushisamba will host the evening that sees executive chef, Claudio Cardoso, team up withMichelin starredLima chef, Virgilio Martinez, to create a unique culinary journey thatreflects their shared respect of Peruvian cuisine and commitment to culinary ingenuity.They will alsobejoined by Robert Ortiz ofLima and Andreas Bollanos ofSushisamba to curate a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience.
Speaking about the event Chef Cardoso explained,“It is an honour to join forces with Virgilio for this memorable evening. His insatiable curiosity into Peru’s rich native flavours has taken him to the highest altitudes and the deepest jungles to learn about the native flora and fauna, so diners can expect an extremely authentic, yet luxurious experience.”
The collaboration betweenSushisambaandLimawill comprise of aneight-course sharing menu that showcases Martinez’ impressive knowledge of the complex Peruvian pallet, partnered with Cardoso’s artistic flair and beautiful cooking style, all of which celebratesPeru’s rich culinary heritage.Martinez shares Cardoso’s enthusiasm, “Myself and the entireLima team are excited about this collaboration, we will be doing something different, simple and very unique; all this of course in one of THE greatest venues.
