This year will mark the eighth annual charity celebration of all things culinary at Meadowood in Napa Valley. The 12-day gastronomic event hosted by award-winning chef, Christopher Kostow and director Nathaniel Dorn, will take place at The Restaurant at Meadowood from December 4th until the 19th.
It is a chance for world-renowned chefs to not only showcase their work, but also to collaboration with Chef Kostow in a one-off event for a charitable cause. Together the chef’s will put their creative forces together to create a unique menu for their special evening, which will be accompanied by fine wine from Napa, beautiful festive décor and good company.
This is the only 12-day charity food event in the nation and as with every other year, Meadowood will donate $2,000 in honor of each participating chef plus 10 percent of every dinner ticket sold to be shared equally between the local charities. This year’s proceeds will be donated to two local charities; The Holly Cranston Memorial Fund dedicated to helping children with disabilities and their families and the Napa Emergency Women’s Services (NEWS), which provides a nurturing refuge for women and children suffering from domestic violence. Both of these worthwhile causes aim to make a positive impact on all those who require help within the local community.
