Andreas Caminada, the Swiss 3 Michelin starred chef and Badrutt’s Palace Hotel team up in a new venture from today and throughoutWinter 2016/17. IGNIV by Andreas Caminada in Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is all about innovation and a fine-dining sharing experience.

As anative of Switzerland’s Graubünden region, the name means ‘nest’ inthe ancient Graubünden language of Rhaeto-Romanic. Whilst offering a whole new dining experience that is anentirely different gastronomic concept to that of Schloss Schauenstein, the award-winning restaurant that has featuredon the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2011, IGNIV will now welcome the newest edition: the second IGNIV restaurant is opening todayon 21st December 2016 in,Le Relais,restaurant at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

Caminada’s second fine dining sharing nestis set to charm guests in future winter seasons in Graubünden, St. Moritz. In culinary terms, a brand new and exciting venture for Badrutt’s Palace Hotel. The existing Le Relais Restaurant is currently being re-configured to be able to embody and radiate IGNIV’s typical,cosy nestatmosphere. Andreas Caminada and his unique food creations complement perfectly the culinary offer of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel. “We are very happy about this new addition to the family and are looking forward to the future collaboration”, explaines Hans Wiedemann, Managing Director & Delegate of the Board.

Asthe youngest three-star chef in Europe, Caminada has created a mecca for high-end-foodies and continues to wow with his classicFrench-stylecuisine, with a focus on the region and season. He endevours to work with regional products that are theninterpretted in a modern way. For Caminada, hisSwiss playground proves plentiful in theimpressive diversity of products andinnovative producers that he has to choose from.Caminada will continue tosurprise and delight hisguests by offering the best of the region,whilst taking them on aculinary journey for thesenses.

The expansion ofthe ‘nest’ will be available to hotelguests from December 2016 onwards, for future winter seasons to savour the creative cuisine. Aside from the new restaurant concept guest are invited to explore other tempting delights offered at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel such asThe Renaissance Bar, Europe’s first Vintage Cigar Lounge, which plays home to an array of fine Cuban cigars.Two further pop up restaurants,Le Pavillion, whichenchants with its unique art of transformation, andCheese Gallore which willentice all Swiss cheese fans.
