In a recent charity auction held by the Andrea Bocelli Foundation in Pisa, guests saw three bottles of Cuvage’s classic method Brut Rosè sold for €45,000.The Italian winemakers are based in Acqui Terme and specialize in the classic method sparkling wine that made the three bottles of wine in question a highly desirable purchase.

Speaking about the event was Enrico Gobino, marketing director of Cuvage, who stated that:

Our connection with the art world aims to sustain projects like this, helping the weakest and improving the medical reserach» said after the event Enrico Gobino, marketing director of Cuvage. A commitment that will be developed in other humanitarian projects lead by the company.

The idea for the “Dinner for Haiti” was concieved by Andrea Bocelli himself and was even held in the house of the famous Italian tenor. It was during this exclusive soiree that the benefactors were offered the chance to bid on the limited edition Brut Rosè, with the 3 litre bottles starting at a base price of €500 and selling for a final price of €15.000 each.

With all proceeds of the charity auction going towards a solidarity project in Haiti, which aims to help fight against poverty and marginalization, the evening was a true success.
