Hakkasan, the worldwide hospitality company that takes its name from its Michelin star restaurant, has announced plans for further expansion.

The group’s collection that already boasts a whopping 50 establishments across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, is set to add to it’s portfolio by launching five new venues in the Asia-Pacific and the USA.

The new locations have been specifically selected for their expected high-growth markets, with two new restaurants and a nightclub being opened in Indonesia due to its increasing importance as a luxury destination. There are also plans to introduce the Michelin-starred Yauatcha brand to the United States, with outposts in Honolulu and Houston.

Announcing the expansion plans, Nick McCabe, President of Hakkasan Group said:

“As Hakkasan Group’s first venture into South East Asia and Yauatcha’s into the US, these developments mark a milestone for the Group and speak to our wider business strategy of moving into high growth markets.

The planned opening of the new Hakkasan, Sake no Hana and OMNIA venues in Jakarta, and of Yauatcha in Houston and Honolulu, follows on from other recent openings from the group in Shanghai, Mykonos, Los Angeles and London.

The group’s collection has seen revenues rise by almost 600% since 2012, so the planned additions for 2016 will be a perfect compliment to the groups already successful portfolio.
