The Villa Louise guest chef takeovers are always an event to have in the diary, and 29th March will be no different when the kitchens will be manned by award-winning chef, Gert De Mangeleer.
With celebrated Belgianchef, playing host at theCreutz and Partners’cooking facility in Germany, guests are expected to be in fora fine dining experience to remember. Known forproducingdishes that usemodern techniques, Gert uses these methods alongsidehome-grown vegetables, herbs and flowers, at a nearby farm in Zedelgem, Gert.
The culinary journey that Gerthas in store will no doubt follow in the same award winning fashion as his highly acclaimed, three-star restaurant, Hertog Jan inZedelgem, Belgium.
De Mangeleer and his team will host this glorious one night event in Aachen, Germany whilst set to the backdrop of the regal Wilhelminian style Villa Louise. Built in the 1870s, the building has played host to numerous very special events and since 2012 has been organising culinary arts events where a guest speaker is accompanied by Michelin-star cuisine. The events have gradually transformed the cooking facility into a world class gathering that brings together topchefs to share their culinary creativity. It is therefore the perfect place for Gertto showcase his gastronomic talents.
