Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has launched a new series of dining experiences offering guests and local gourmands the chance to take a look ”behind-the-scenes” at diverse local culinary practices and traditions.

Taste of Placefrom Four Seasons Hotels & Resortsis a collection of local culinary and beverage experiences around the world inspired by local landscapes and cultures.The 25 participating properties in the Four Seasons portfolio, have each created comprehensive itineraries that will invite guests to explore uncharted aspectsofthe local food culture, connecting with local food vendors, farmers, butchers, distillers and mixologists.

The immersive experiences range from private toursofregional breweries and vineyards to deep sea fishing excursions and farm-to-bar mixology classes. In addition, several curated itineraries will transport guests across progressive dining experiences that unfold in settings with remarkable viewsofthe surrounding landscapes.Find below is a snapshot of the edible choices on offer:

Gastronomic Tour in Parma (Four Seasons Hotel Milano)

Early in the morning, budding epicureans will be escorted on a private tour of Iris farm, one of the pioneers of processing, where they will get to see up close how parmesan cheese is made, followed by a tasting. Next, guests will embark on a tour of Leporati Prosciutti Langhirano company, one of the top artisanal ham producers in the region, where they will learn the various stages of how Parma Leporati ham is made. The day ends at Masticabrodo, a local restaurant and tavern where guests will get the opportunity to enjoy traditional cuisine from the Emilia-Romagna region, featuring special meats and regional wines.

Malaysian Cuisine Masterclass (Four Seasons Resort Langkawi)

Guests will begin their foodie adventure exploring a traditional Malaysian market and organic farm with the Resort’s Naturalist, Aida Abdullah, gathering ingredients for a culinary workshop with Chef Zainol, the Resort’s Executive Sous Chef. Guests will enjoy the fruits of their labour before venturing to the Night Market, to sample traditional Malay delicacies in the buzzing moonlit atmosphere.

High Altitude Dining (Four Seasons Resort & Residences, Whistler)

Duringthis Canadian adventure, guests will be flown on a private helicopter ride to a remote glacier fitted in Canadian Goose jackets and Sorrel boots for optimum comfort andwith a glass of Moet Ice in hand. On the glacier, guests will explore a 12,000 year old labyrinth of chambers in search ofa crucial ingredient for the upcoming cocktail session,pure glacier ice.The Resort’s mixologist will then create cocktails to be enjoyed at this unforgettable location before guests fly back to the Resort for a specially curated dinner by Executive Chef, Eren Guryel.
