Ethical food initiative directed by Rosa Alpina Chef Norbert Niederkofler returns to the Dolomites with dinners & workshops by more than 30 international star chefs – 22-25 January

From 22-25 January 2017, chefs and foodies from around the world will gather in the region of Alta Badia in the Dolomites, Italy to learn how to live a sustainable and environmentally-friendly lifestyle through cooking. Spearheaded by Rosa Alpina’s Michelin star Executive Chef Norbert Niederkofler, CARE’s will see more than 30 international star chefs passing on their secrets about using local produce, following the journey of food from farm to plate and reusing leftovers.

CARE’s will see a series of workshops and events over three days including:

  • Special dinners at local hotels includingRosa Alpina, San Cassiano andHotel Sassongher, Corvara with dishes from international Michelin star guest chefs such as Claude Bosi from Hibiscus, London

  • Ethical cooking lessons at local mountain huts

  • Talks by chefs on eco-friendly living

  • Guided skiing masterclasses

Rosa Alpina has been owned by three generations of the Pizzinini family for the past 70 years and is a luxurious mountain retreat reflective of the Dolomites, home to 2 Michelin star St. Hubertus restaurant. Rooms are available from €580 per night based on two sharing a De Luxe Double.
