October 11th will prove a very special night as the exclusive collaborative dinner between these two great chefs is finally announced…
Dewitte-Tanaka

When two cutting edge chefs get together to produce a 14-course tasting menu for an elite few in a cosy villa hidden behind a hedge at the luscious Belgian countryside, you know it’s going to be a great gastronomic extravaganza.

The dinner on 11th October will see Atsushi Tanakaof Parisian Restaurant A.T work side by side with Belgium chef, Benoit Dewitte at his Michelin Star restaurant Benoit & Bernard Dewitte.

The two chefs will co-create the gourmet menu that takes inspiration from both of their pools of knowledge. With Benoit Dewitte’s career having taken off in the kitchens of Alain Ducasse’s La Bastide de Moustiers, he then went on to hone his skills at two star restaurants Chez Bru, Ousteau de Beaumaniere,LeMoulin de Lourmarin and Auberge de Capelounge. Through extensive travelling, he has developed a signature style that reflects all the styles and techniques he has learnt from around the world.

Equally Tanakaprizes himself on his lack of definitive style, and instead opts more to celebrate the wealth of experience he has gained whilst working under the wings of cooking greats such as; Pierre Gagnaire, Quique Dacosta, Bart De Pooter, Bjorn Frantzén, Rasmus Kofoed, Magnus Ekand, and Sergio Herman.

Inevitably his style draws on the influence of all these culinary techniques that include Japanese, Nordic, molecular gastronomy and classic French cuisine, resulting in a light and refined style that tells a story of his unique culinary journey.

With a tasting menu designed by these two exciting young chefs and with Tanakaeven being hailed as “Picasso of the kitchen” by the infamous Pierre Gagnaire, this really is one of the most sought after private dinners of the season.
