According to the latest Michelin news, it has been said that just a few months after Jean-Georges Vongerichten announced that he will be setting up a new venture in Singapore next month, he has also surprised fans by saying that this will not be the only one to emerge this year.

The celebrated chef who has been awarded three Michelin stars for hiseponymousrestaurantJean-Georges, also released the information that he will be openinga vegetable-centric restaurant in New York City this September and will be namedABCV.
It’s his third collaboration with ABC Carpet & Home CEO Paulette Cole, the first two beingABC KitchenandABC Cocina– both also in NYC with a focus on being eco-conscious and organic where possible.

While plant and vegetable-basedmenus have been increasingly popular even at Michelin-starred restaurants, Vongerichten’s establishment will go entirely meatless in an attempt to chnage the mindset of what meat-free cooking can be like.

As one of the world’s most famous chefs,Jean-Georges Vongerichten is a savvybusinessman and restaurateur, who knows how to create forward-thinking fine dining. His ability to adapt his skills means that he can use his technical mastery to achieve the best results from ingredients such as roots, stems, shoots and leaves that are both original and creative. It has been suggested that the restaurant will take its inspiration from South East Asian inspired dishes, but this is under wraps until September when more details will be released…
