Less than a week before the annual World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015 awards, the list of the best restaurants ranked 51-100 has been revealed.

Usually the top-secret list is kept under lock and key until the award ceremony itself, but this year is the first time that the restaurants winning positions of 51-100 will be acknowledged and celebrated ahead of time.

William Drew, Group Editor of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, said:

“This is the first year we have shared the 51-100 list ahead of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards ceremony and we are thrilled to shine a light on the global gastronomic talent, new and recurring, that makes up this list. We feel that each and every entry should be celebrated and we are privileged and proud to play a part in the journey of culinary discovery that is The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.”

The event sponsored by S.Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, and for the first time this year consultancy service Deloitte as its official independent adjudication partner, has 11 first-time entrants on the newly revealed list. The finalists for positions from 51-100 include fresh talent such as Copenhagen’s Amass, Lisbon’s Belcanto and Mikla in Istanbul and old favourites such as UAE’s Zuma and South Africa’s The Tasting Room, which both occupy the equal No.88 spot.
