The brand that has been celebrated for constantly pushing the art of blending Scotch into new, creative and ambitious forms will be demonstrating their dedication to the craft with its latest edition, The Eternal Reserve.
Their innovative blending technique has taken specially selected rare and precious whiskies to create the new whisky. The whiskies have been blended together and married in 88 casks to form the inaugural batch. Using a unique process called Circular Blending™, Royal Salute are committed to using this original blend in every subsequent batch for decades to come.
This whisky blend will be re-casked in the Royal Salute Vault in Strathisla Distillery after every newly released batch, so in time it is hoped that with every sip you could be taking a step back in time to 2015, when the original batch was born.
Speakingto Vadim Grigorian, the global brand directorof Royal Salute, he states that:“Time is at the heart of Royal Salute – our youngest blend is 21 years old but we were born alongside a thoroughly modern monarch so we constantly blend tradition with the contemporary. Artists, writers, and philosophers – all dedicated to understanding the possibility of continuity in the modern world, inspire the Eternal Reserve. This superb whisky is our suggestion that eternity doesn’t mean living forever. It means timelessness – and it belongs to those who live in the present.”
The Eternal Reserve aims to do exactly that – a blend eternally preserved by this perpetual circulation that will create a legacy in whisky making.
The first batch of 88 Casks will be released in 2015 and sold exclusively in Global Travel Retail, supported by an innovative experiential, digital promotional and merchandising campaign bringing Royal Salute The Eternal Reserve story to life. With limited availablity, make sure you get your pre-orders in now so you can ensure you get a tasteof the original Eternal Reserve blend.
