Celebrate the brilliance of all things Bowie with a special four-course dinner.

Celebrate the life and career of the barrier busting David Bowie at a special dinner presented by The Norm, the restaurant adjacent to the Brooklyn Museum’s blockbuster David Bowie Is exhibition.

Taking place on July 1st, the four-course David Bowie Is Dinner will highlight important phases of the artist’s body of work, focusing on work inspired by the city of London.

The dinner will reflect the culinary culture of England’s capital, while drawing inspiration from the corresponding period of Bowie’s career. The Norm’s Michelin-starred Executive Chef Saul Bolton will also share insights about the creation of the menus, while Matthew Yokobosky, the Brooklyn Museum’s director of exhibition design, will address the history of the David Bowie Isexhibit, along with how he conceived and executed the format of its installation.

Visit to see a compelling collection of rare photographs of the artist by famed Japanese photographer Masayoshi Sukita are on display. His 40-year collaboration with Bowie captured some of the most iconic images of him.

The Norm, the full service restaurant at the Brooklyn Museum, explores the culinary diversity of Brooklyn, while drawing inspiration from the museum’s programming.
