Voted the best vegetarian in London, Tibits is the only outpost of the famed Swiss chain of the same name. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with nice lighting and a great outdoor sitting area (if the weather permits). A lunch-time favourite with those who work in the area, it is a nice respite from the business of Regent Street. Try the excellent Virginie Cocktail, the vegetable tartar, perfect falafel and the dessert bar complete with vegan sticky toffee pudding and panna cotta. The food is fresh, delicious and you can tell that the recipes have been tried and tested.

Il Margutta Vegetariano
Vegetariain in Italy sounds like a joke, but perhaps your looking for a change of pace. Il Margutta has been around since 1979 serving Romans and visitors delicious and inspired vegetarian food. Just off the Piazza del Popolo, down Via Margutta (famous from the film Roman Holiday) the atmosphere is bright and cheerful, with lots of windows and colour. The menu is seasonal and lists their suppliers in the front. Offering several set menu’s including a vegan menu, the rest is organized in a very Italian way. With everything from risotto to soup, raw focused dishes to delisious desserts, the chef’s draw from the richness of the Mediterranean utilizing great raw ingredients.

For the fine dining lovers in your group, head to Berlin where vegetarian dining is taken to a new level. La Man Verde Vegan Restaurant is a standout example.
