Ready for your next dining fix? Taking (and tasting) place this June, join minibar for a special collaboration dinner with Atelier Crenn chef Dominique Crenn.
With an impressive number of Michelin stars between them, the bi-coastal restaurants will be teaming up for a night of pure gourmet delights on June 11, with a tasting menu like no other.
One of the world’s most impressive chefs, Crenn was the first woman in America to receive a third Michelin star in 2018 for her acclaimed tasting menu restaurant Atelier Crenn in San Francisco.
José Andrés’ ultra-luxe gastronomy lab in Penn Quarter meanwhile, has received two stars from the tire company’s guide for two consecutive years.
José Andrés and minibar chef Jorge Hernandez will cook alongside Crenn during this special night as part of the restaurant’s ongoing Mini Series, Major Chefs programme.
Previous collaborations have seen superstar chefs like Albert Adrià, Josean Alija, Marsia Taha and Brad Kilgore all take to the pass at the famed Washington restaurant.
Crenn, who also runs Bar Crenn and Petit Crenn in San Francisco, started her culinary career over 30 years ago at Stars under culinary pioneers Jeremiah Tower and Mark Franz.
Her parents greatly influenced her cooking, which has seen her win a number of titles and accolades – including being awarded World’s Best Female Chef in 2016 by San Pellegrino’s 50 Best. In 2017, Atelier Crenn debuted at No. 83 on the organisation’s list of world’s best restaurants.
