If you’re having trouble getting a reservation atDabbous restaurant in London’s Fitzrovia, you might want to consider freeing up your diary next Friday as Ollie Dabbous hosts a one-night pop-up on the River Thames.
To launch his partnership with Woods’ Silver Fleet cruises, the former Le Manoir chef will treat yacht-goers to a gourmet evening, as guests sail onboard The Silver Sturgeon, taking in iconic sights such as Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and the Tate Modern.
The ticketed event is being co-hosted by Oskar Kinberg (of Oskar’s Bar), with the promise of champagne on arrival, a selection of dishes, such as Dabbous’ renowned coddled eggs with mushrooms and smoked butter, and seasonal cocktails, plus live music and a DJ.
Following the pop-up event, anyone who hosts a private event on board The Silver Sturgeon will have the opportunity to choose catering by Ollie Dabbous. The menu offering will change seasonally, but expect dishes such as cured salmon with elderflower and chervil and the barbecued Iberico pork with savoury acorn praline and crushed green apple.
