The luxury Italian jeweller, watchmaker and perfumery has launched its first e-commerce platform in Singapore, with plans to expand its online shopping options to various countries – including its native Italy – in the coming months.

The high-end label has felt the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has seen many of its international boutiques closed for shoppers due to physical shopping restrictions put in place. In response, Bulgari has accelerated its online shopping offering, kicking off with the Singapore e-store going live on 22 May. A further seven countries will have e-commerce options launched over the next 90 days, with the UAE, Italy, France, Korea, Mexico and Brazil next on the list.

Adding a cutting-edge touch, the digital store has an augmented reality function that allows online shoppers to view products in 3D, replicating how they would appear in a real-world environment. E-concierges and home delivery services also form part of the online store offering.

Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin commented: “E-commerce must be an engaging and exclusive 360-degree experience, offering the same service of excellence delivered in a Bulgari boutique. Not to mention the complementary of the website with the boutiques in terms of content and information. With Covid-19, our e-shop has become our number-one store worldwide with a growth exceeding 100 per cent and we believe it will reinforce its leading position after Covid-19, as it has been an accelerating factor.”

The online shop features all categories of the brand’s notable products, including their premium jewellery and watches, exclusive handbags and accessories, indulgent wedding and engagement rings and their coveted perfumes. Take a peak at the Singapore online store here.
