At the end of April one of the biggest cooking spectacles of the year will arrive in the Black Forest.

“Chef of the Year” and “Patissier of the Year” will offer the best that fine dining has on offer. From 26-27 April, foodies can take part in exciting live competitions, show cooking, tastings, kitchen parties and much more.

The prominent judges of the competition include stars like the only two-Michelin-star chef of Germany, Douce Steiner (Hotel Restaurant Hirschen, Sulzburg), the legendary chef Dieter Müller, the newly crowned two-Michelin-star chefs of the region, Paul Stradner (Brenners Park-Restaurant, Baden-Baden) and Peter Hagen (Ammolite, Europa-Park in Rust) or the star pastry chef Pierre Lingelser (Schwarzwaldstube, Baiersbronn)

It that were not enough, guests can also look forward to iPastry (26 April) and iChefs (27 April) as part of the stage programme, featuring Christian Hümbs (Restaurant Haerlin at Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg), Andy Vorbusch (Sööt, Düsseldorf) and René Frank (La Vie, Osnabrück) as well as Benjamin Peifer (restaurant Urgestein, Neustadt a.d. Weinstraße), Tristan Brandt (Opus V, Mannheim) and Robert Rädel (oben, Leimen-Lingental).
