October 2015 saw the opening of Beyond London, the newly launched early evening dining and late-night partying hot spot in Kensington. Quickly recognizing the much-needed boost to Kensington High Street’s Bar and Restaurant offering, Beyond London offers delectable Pan Asian sharing plates & experimental cocktails to its patrons.
Capturing the spirit of cultured and stylish Kensington and following his enormous success at Harrods Chai Wu, Executive Chef Ian Pengellery has come on board to create an aspiring Pan Asian menu including Seabass and gold glake steamed dumplings, mixed bubbling and smoking sashimi and green tea chocolate fondant. To thedelight of guests, Pengelley has also brought some of his much-loved, iconic dishes to Beyond London including the duck and watermelon salad. The menu is refreshing, exciting and challenges senses with a mix of textures, smells and presentation styles.
Beyond the food menu lies a fabulous cocktail list. Award winning mixoligist, Andy Mil joined the team and brought his own unique flare and creativity to the menu. Some of our favourites include the ‘Jurassic Jive!’ which includes Ron Zacapa, Johnnie Walker, chery, Campari and sweet vermouth and the ‘Sonic Groom’ which includes Grey Goose, Martini Bianco, lychee, cranberry, peach and mint.
The highly versatile venue is fitted with plush sofas, private booths, dim lit lights and music to set the mood. The atmosphere makes for an idyllic social setting, whether it be after work drinks, a meal with friends or late night drinks and dancing.
Complete with a lounge concierge service, the attentive staff can provide a quality experience into the early hours.
Bringing together award winning food, drinks in a relaxed lounge bar-night club environment is exactly what South West London was lacking and we are excited for what unfolds.
