Daniel Boulud and Andrew Carmellini celebrate the French national day with a special feast being held at Bar Boulud, London.

July 14th will mark the French National Day that celebrates revolution and innovation. With the whole of France and french nationals worldwide paying homage to Bastille day through the numerous large-scale public events, parades, dances, parties and fireworks, it is only natural that French chefs will be holding celebratory meals fit for a king.

In the case of Daniel Boulud, he will be returning to London to hold an exclusive party on the eve of Bastille day itself. The evening will payhomage to its classicbistro roots and marksFrench National Day in true Bar Boulud style. Thespecially designed Bastille menu will be availble for the whole week, however on Tuesday 14 July Daniel Boulud andExecutive Chef Thomas Piat will be welcoming highly accalimed US chef, Andrew Carmellini. The chef and restauranteuris a culinary star in New York City, where he has won numerous accolades including two James Beard Foundation Awards and a Michelin star for his Italian restaurant, A Voce. Having also worked under Daniel Boulud for many years at Café Boulud, during which time he won two James Beard Foundation Awards, Chef Carmellini is excited to reunite with his former mentor for one night only at Bar Boulud, London.
