The highly acclaimed Atelier House Hospitality is celebrating its 5th Anniversary with a special one-night-only 4 chefs’ dinner on 18th May at Marea DIFC. The boutique hospitality firm has launched some of Dubai’s most successful F&B concepts, including Marea, 11 Woodfire, Mohalla, and the soon-to-open RSVP in Jumeirah. To celebrate 5 years, Atelier House is inviting guests for a special five-course dinner starting from 8 pm.
The degustation menu is priced at AED 495 and includes two starters, two main courses, one petit four platter (total of four petit fours created by each chef), and two speciality premium beverages. The celebratory dinner will commence with a starter, a first exclusive taste of RSVP, Atelier Hospitality’s newest new French fine-dining concept which is set to open in Jumeirah in June 2022.
Chef de cuisine of RSVP, Aadel Ouaoua grew up in Lyon, the undeniable capital of gastronomy where fresh produce and the finest restaurants abound. Chef Aadel was afforded the privilege to train under some of Paris’ greatest chefs including legendary Chefs Benoit Dargere and Cyril Lignac. He is an atypical French chef with a passion for classic Japanese techniques with a Mediterranean touch. The RSVP hors d’oeuvre, carpaccio of sea bass with Stracciatella basilic oil and raspberry will start the night on a superb note with each bite delighting the taste buds. Guests will leave wanting another taste of RSVP once the doors officially open.
The second starter will be the Sigree grilled green garlic shrimp with confit green mango with Indian pickling spices, Cape gooseberry, and garlic sprouts prepared by Mohalla’s beloved Head Chef Adwait Anantwar. He is enthusiastic to demonstrate his flair for blending flavours from across India’s diverse gastronomic landscape and his passion for authentic sub-regional Indian food made with the freshest ingredients.
Moving onto main courses, the first will be a garganelli pasta accompanied by black trumpet mushrooms, black truffle, parmigiana, baby leeks, and chilli courtesy of Marea’s Executive Chef Yunus Aydin. Chef Yunus has distinguished himself as a true pillar of Marea Dubai since its opening in the bustling DIFC destination. He has established Marea as one of the most premium Italian culinary destinations in Dubai. Guests in attendance can indulge in the main course that pays homage to Chef Yunus’ expert techniques and culinary background, which has been influenced by his coastal Mediterranean upbringing. Having worked closely with the Marea New York team, he delivers impeccable dishes inspired by his days living in the coastal town of Marmaris in Turkey.
A twenty-day aged, jerk-rubbed black Angus striploin will be the second main course brought to life by 11 Woodfire’s Chef Akmal Anuar. The Singaporean-born chef/partner and restauranteur is one of the region’s most admired figures in the culinary industry. His impressive career has afforded him the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s most talented chefs allowing him to hone his skills. He is no stranger to curating concepts that excite the culinary world such as the recent highly acclaimed 11 Woodfire. Guests can anticipate a dish that entices the palate with a myriad of different textures, tastes, and smells.
The newly appointed General Manager of Marea Dubai, Petra Peternel, will be on hand to welcome guests and recommend food and wine pairings throughout the evening. To conclude the decadent dinner, each chef will showcase their unique take on petit fours in a four-piece petit four platter that will be unveiled on the night. Each bite-sized confectionary will represent the individual chef’s flavour profile, culinary background, and skill.
