Alain Ducasse to head the kitchen at Le Meurice

Master of French cuisine chef Alain Ducasse is set to manage the kitchens at Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice from September 2013

Leading the team at Le Meurice’s gastronomic restaurant, Alain will also oversee le Dalí restaurant where the spirit of the infamous surrealist continues to reign supreme.

Ecstatic with his new role, Alain commented-

“I am honoured that Franka Holtmann, general manager of Le Meurice, with the support of François Delahaye, chief operating officer of Dorchester Collection, has asked me to come and join Le Meurice. French cuisine has a major place, role and impact in the world today. I am pleased to contribute to its successin two of the finest locationsin Paris: Hotel Plaza Athénée and Le Meurice.”

Alain Ducasse has over 25 years of experience and has designed the menus of many prestigious establishments worldwide, from Monaco and New York to Tokyo and Doha. Having already contributed to the success of Dorchester Collection’s three-star restaurant at Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris and The Dorchester in London, Alain’s arrival at Le Meurice is a sign of continued accomplishment forDorchester Collection’s luxury hotels.
