This winter, London gains a fleeting taste of the Mediterranean as Jumeirah Carlton Tower unveils A Taste of Capri—a limited-time dining residency bringing the spirit of southern Italy’s most storied flavours to the heart of Knightsbridge.
Running from 6 February to 8 March 2026, the residency draws inspiration from L’Olivo, the two Michelin-starred restaurant at Jumeirah Capri Palace. At its centre is a refined five-course tasting menu that reflects the culinary identity of Capri while remaining attuned to London’s cosmopolitan dining scene.
The menu has been curated by Salvatore Elefante, Executive Chef at L’Olivo, alongside Chef André Migliaccio, Culinary Executive Director at Jumeirah. Together, they have crafted a journey rooted in seasonality, technique and provenance, with ingredients sourced directly from Italy to preserve the authenticity of the experience. Expect bright Mediterranean notes throughout, from L’Oro di Capri olive oil to sun-ripened lemons that echo the island’s coastal character.
Dessert brings a signature finale: profiteroles filled with chocolate cream and pistachio, taken directly from L’Olivo Capri’s dessert repertoire and created by world-renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé—a detail that underscores the residency’s commitment to both pedigree and precision.
Wine plays an integral role in the experience. In collaboration with Hedonism Wines and Laurent-Perrier, each course is thoughtfully paired to enhance the menu’s rhythm and balance. The selection spans expressive, small-production wines such as Domaine de Trévallon—often described as a “wine of artists” for its deeply personal approach to Provençal winemaking—through to Laurent-Perrier’s Grand Siècle, the house’s prestige cuvée blended from three exceptional vintages to recreate an idealised “perfect year”.
Rarely does a-two Michelin-starred Capri dining experience travel beyond the island itself. A Taste of Capri offers London diners a short-lived opportunity to encounter that calibre of craftsmanship without leaving the city, celebrating the intersection of Italian culinary heritage, thoughtful hospitality, and contemporary luxury.
The A Taste of Capri five-course tasting menu, including a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, is priced from £110, with an optional Hedonism Wines pairing available.
