Cologne’s avantgarde culinary festival is setting out to change the culinary world. We give you the scoop…

No one has had quite such a lasting impact on the culinary world as the first generation of Spanish chefs – we’re talking about Arzak, Berasategui, Roca and especially Adrià. The new generation fall nothing short of them. They set trends, inspire and are imitated by hundreds. Two of these are starring at this year’s CHEF-SACHE, an avant-garde cuisine festival in Cologne, Germany. They are friends, pursue an ecologically/regional approach and belong to the golden chefs generation of the 1970s: Quique Dacosta, born in 1972; Eneko Atxa, 1977.

Chef-Sache is taking place at the Paladium in Cologne on 26 October. With national and international stars on stage, it’s the place to be this month. An incredible 23 Michelin stars will gather and set new trends. There will also be 60 exhibitors introducing their products at the event.

Under the motto: “Let’s change the culinary world”, this year’s chef elite will introduce the audience to the new trends that will move the culinary world in the coming year. Apart from inspiration from the shows and workshops, the audience will be able to get plenty of tasters of ground-breaking culinary creations.
