If you love luxury hotels, you’re in for a treat. The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix, Geneva are now open, offering the brand’s world-class experiences in two of the world’s most coveted destinations.

The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix, Geneva have officially opened their doors, bringing luxury service, amazing restaurants and exceptional spa experiences to two of the world’s best destinations.

1 The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi
If you love hotels with stupendous views, this new hotel is ideal. Overlooking the beautiful Andaman Sea and surrounded by a 10-million-year-old rainforest, The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi blends natural beauty and rich culture with luxurious accommodations and unbeatable service.

Designed by Philippe Villeroux of Kuala Lumpur-based Tropical Area Architects, the resort has been built with a purpose to fully immerse travellers in the island’s natural ecosystem and local culture. With 70 guest rooms, 15 suites and 29 villas filled with exquisite Malay architecture, it’s set to offer a haven filled with lavish details. Other five-star amenities include the island’s only overwater spa, four distinct dining venues and three swimming pools.

The rooms’ vertical lines fully integrate the living spaces into the surrounding jungle, while elegant overwater villas offer panoramic views of the sea, complete with magnificent Langkawi sunsets. Guests will be able to make the most of exciting and traditional activities – during the ‘golden hours’ of sunrise and sunset, guests can enjoy a contemporary performance of an ancient tarian payang on the beach. This is a traditional gesture of thanks and respect for the rich bounty of the sea and land, and is ideal for guests looking to immerse themselves in authentic culture.

Other activities include guided jungle walks and visits to local night markets, where guests can sample traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian delicacies and crafts.

2 The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix, Geneva
It’s no secret that Lake Geneva is a stunning location – and the opening of this newly renovated property with two delectable dining destinations will only add to the view. Offering picturesque views of the city’s famous Jet d’Eau and Mont Blanc, Hotel de la Paix has defined luxury in Geneva since its inception in 1865.

This fascinating hotel has witnessed many memorable gatherings, including the International Congress of Peace. It’s also  welcomed high-profile guests, including the Monaco Royal Family. Thanks to its new careful renovation, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix, Geneva seamlessly blends a modern aesthetic, functionality and the property’s vibrant heritage.

Guests can now enjoy the hotel’s 74 guestrooms, including 14 elegant suites, which have been re-styled with sleek interiors and modern accents. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill each room with natural light and are further enhanced by stunning views across Mont Blanc Square, Lake Geneva and the Jet d’Eau.  For something special, book The Grace Kelly Suite – aptly named after the Princess of Monaco who was a regular at the hotel.

Paying homage to Geneva’s gastronomic scene, the hotel captures the cosmopolitan nature of Geneva with two new culinary experiences. Inspired by Executive Chef Alessio Corda’s respect for organic, regional dishes, Fiskebar introduces a new Nordic-fusion concept, a first-of-its-kind in Geneva.

Living Room Bar & Kitchen meanwhile offers all-day dining, serving regional dishes and global flavors with a thoughtfully crafted menu that showcases fresh, local and seasonal produce. Additionally, the Philippe Pascoët chocolate shop offers authentic sweet confections, handmade by legendary Swiss Master Chocolatier, Philippe Pascoët – there’s even a complimentary treat upon arrival.
